Victoria M. Rodriguez is pursuing her BFA at the University of Texas at Austin, with an expected graduation date of 2026. She graduated from McAllen High School in 2022 with a GPA of 4.00, held multiple leadership positions, and received numerous high distinction awards.
Victoria began dancing at age three and has studied dance at various schools nationwide, including Jill Stanford Dance Center, Southern Strut Dance Company, Deborah Case Dance Academy, and Rolando Pacheco Dance Center. She began her ballet training with Russian Ballet Master Val Salnikov, where she found her passion and love for Classical Ballet. She later continued training under Deborah Case in Vaganova Ballet and Rolando Pacheco in the Cuban Method of Ballet. She has participated in a variety of dance productions, including” From Russia with Ballet,” a production showcasing ballet dancers around the world in St. Simons Island, Georgia, and The Rio Grande Valley production of The Nutcracker, receiving lead roles such as Clara and Dew Drop, and Southern Strut’s Christmas special of the Grinch. Victoria has also competed/placed at various Dance Competitions, including Showtime International, Jump Dance Convention, and Showmakers of America. In addition to Victoria’s Dance career, she was a cheerleader and Drill Team member at her high school. She was named a UCA All-American Cheerleader with a staff invitation. In addition to her dance career, Victoria has played the violin for nine years. Her musical background has profoundly influenced her approach to dance, enhancing her sense of rhythm, musicality, and expression.
With over seven years of experience as a dance instructor, Victoria is dedicated to fostering creativity, instilling valuable life skills, and cultivating discipline in her students. Her extensive training spans various styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Tumbling.
