Whitney has been dancing at Tarrytown Dance since the age of 8. It was where her passion for dance truly started. She has been a committed DanceForce member throughout middle school and continued her high school career. Through her competitive dance, she has been gifted many awards and scholarships for her hard work and dance skills, including the facilities, JUMP Dance Convention, Artists Simply Human, Tremaine, and The Dance Awards. Whitney also attends Stephen F. Austin High School and is a Red Jackets drill team member.
Whitney's teaching career started at Tarrytown Dance as an assistant to an instructor. She absolutely loved working with children and inspiring them to dance to their full potential. Whitney is now an instructor at Tarrytown Dance and couldn’t be happier doing what she loves every day.
Whitney’s mindset as a teacher is to ensure positive enforcement and display discipline and respect towards teachers and the dancers in the room with you. Her goal is to connect with her students, create a supportive atmosphere, and help children advance in dance skills and confidence.
